Which coulter should you choose?
Choose PSP knurled if:
- you sow into mulch or use strip-till
- a lot of crop residue remains in the field
- you work on heavier soil
- you sow rapeseed and care about early root growth
A disc is enough if:
- the field has been ploughed
- there is little crop residue
- a high sowing speed is your priority

KNURLED
It may require more draft and more frequent checks for edge wear. Servicing is simple, but the coulter can clog in wet soil.
DISC
It generally offers less resistance, its edges wear more slowly and it clogs less often. Bearings still need checking.
